New Life Care Foundation Believes that Addiction is a treatable BIO-PSYCHO-SOCIAL-SPIRITUAL disease and effective treatment addresses all four of these facets through a long-term continuum of care. However we realize that no single approach to recovery is always successful or best for each person; Therefore, we offer individualized and multiple treatment options and plans involving evidence-based practices to foster improved results for our patients. Some of these evidence based practices include.
INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP COUNSELLING.
Individual and Group counselling are integral part of recovery treatment. In comprehensive recovery Programs these two components are not at odds insights gained in individual sessions complement those is Group therapy. Our effective treatment Plan utilizes both therapeutic approaches from residential treatment to aftercare.
FAMILY COUNSELLING:
Studies have shown that people are more likely to recover when they have family support unfortunately this process can be challenging, and many families end up suffering alongside their loved one.
COGNITIVE BEHAVIOR THERAPY:
Cognitive Behavior therapy (CBT) teaches addicts recovering from addiction and Mental Illness to find connections between their thoughts, feelings and actions and increases awareness of how things impact Recovery. Cognitive Behavior therapy is a widely used in addiction treatment.
RATIONAL EMOTIVE BEHAVIOR THERAPY:
Rational emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) is a part of our treatment program because it works effectively with maladaptive behaviors such as substance abuse. REBT helps addicts change their self-defeating thoughts so they can feel better about them selves and alter their behavior to one that is more adaptive to the situation and effective resulting in behavior that helps clients achieve identified goals.
TWELVE STEP FACILITATION:
Twelve Steps Facilitation therapy is used as a part of our continuum of care introducing the client to self-help groups as part of the clients Relapse Prevention Plan.
At New Life Care Foundation it all begins with Screening done by Psychologists followed by Diagnosis and Assessment. Active residential treatment and recovery support activities as part of a long term chronic care plan, there is gradual realization and acceptance that recovery in a life-long process that requires commitment to remain abstinent from all mood altering substances.
